An invaluable primary source for the Levant, specially for Cyprus and for the coexistence of Armenians, Greeks, Syrians, and Franks in these regions during the late Middle Ages. It cover rules and decisions on trade, weddings, heritage, rental of houses, taxation, relations among nobles and peasants and other social matters. Preserved by Armenians in Cilicia after the fall of the Principality in 1268, the texts were rediscovered and first published in this edition. Parallel text in French and original Armenian.
