Munch (1798–1841), a distinguished German historian, compiled a very detailed account of the rise of the Greek nation, published in several volumes, over the years, in Basel. He included information from many Philhellenes who fought in Greece at the time. The account provides a very clear image of events in Greece. Absent from all major collections for the Levant. Very rare complete.
