It contains meticulous itineraries describing every road, path, and track, together with comprehensive accounts of towns, ports, and villages. The islands of Lemnos, Thassos, Imbros, and Samothrace are also included, alongside a precise survey of the wider Macedonian region as it stood in the 1910s. By far the most accurate and comprehensive contemporary description of Macedonia, secretly issued, strictly for official military use.
