The first part deals in detail with all regions of European Turkey at the time, focusing mostly on the Greek areas, from Morea to Macedonia and Thrace, offering an excellent presentation of the cities, population, and all other relevant information for early 18th century Greece. The second book deals with Poland. Includes one large folded map of Greece and the Balkans (35 x 28 cm) by Tirion, another of Poland of the same size, a beautiful large folded view of Constantinople (43 x 20 cm), and other folded views such as the Sea of Marmara, Paros, and several others of the region. A detailed description of the early 18th century Levant, richly illustrated with many fine views and maps published only once.
