Hasselrot (1769–1839), a priest, traveled with Pehr Olof von Asp in the Levant in the first half of 1796.
They toured extensively in Greece, starting from Corfu and the Ionian Islands, especially Zante where they spent some time, then Patras and the Morea (Vostitsa, Korinth), before reaching Athens. They kept a detailed calendar, allowing the journey to be followed on a daily basis.
A very rare early Swedish travel account in the Levant.
