In his youth he traveled to Greece in 1824, after the crash of the Spanish revolution, to fight for the Greek independence.The book has been privately issued in 1828.A scarce Spanish Philhellenic work. He provides a very detailed description of the Ottoman Empire in Europe during the Greek revolution,full with historical and specially geographical notes,as Spanish people were not well informed about the Greek areas in Europe.The whole area of Greece during Revolution is meticulously presented.
