The squadron travelled all around Eastern Mediterranean during 1798-1801 as Nelson tried to annihilate the remaining of the French fleet and cut the provisions towards the French expeditionary force in Egypt.Willyams had the opportunity to visit several Greek islands, as Rhodes and many places in the Levant.
