GREECE, SANSON COVENS MORIER. A big copper engraved map of the Balkans, titled “Antiquorum Illyrici Orientalis Episcopatus Geographica Descriptio”, unfolded (50x37cm), in a large (62x55cm) paper, this version is not in Zacharakis (but see another reference, Zacharakis 3183, dated 1694 that make no sense, as Covens Mortier started his business in 1721), this map was published in 1735, in the Atlas Sacer Ecclesiasticus and Profanus of Covens Mortier, only one edition, with 250 copies printed, almost mint condition, strong paper and nice printing, rare version.
