NORTHERN EPIRUS, DELVINO. An original watercolor (24x17cm), by William Page (1794-1872), attached in a period hard paper inscribed “view near Delvino in Albania”, inscribed at the back “view taken near Delvine from a s(ketch) taken by C.Ibbotson in the spring in the year 1832”, light spotting on paper, otherwise in fine condition. Charls Ibbotson travelled in Northern Epirus, in the early 1830s. William Page, a very important British painter, travelled also in Greece during that period.
