The people of the Morea have taken up arms and joined forces with the Souliotes, who are positioned across from the Isthmus of Corinth. The Kaimakam of the Peloponnese addressed the leaders of the Greek clergy, commanding them to declare their submission and ordering the people to lay down their arms.
