Allgemeine Zeitung 3rd of February 1822 Greek ships appeared in the Thermaic Gulf and landed troops at Kassandra. The Greek revolutionaries conducted raids as far as Thessaloniki. The Greeks of the Morea and Epirus are in a favorable position. Khurshid Pasha was forced to halt the siege of Ioannina, allowing Ali Pasha to move toward Metsovo. The Greeks have captured Farsala and may subsequently capture Larissa as well.
