Allgemeine Zeitung 26th of September 1822 Following his receipt of reinforcements, Khurshid Pasha crossed Thermopylae and launched attacks against Athens, Corinth, and Argos. The terror-stricken Greeks are fleeing to the island of Kea. The Greek Senate and executive authorities have been dissolved. The revolutionaries of Argos attempted to escape upon learning that 20,000 Turks were stationed in Corinth. Kolokotronis and Ypsilantis have apprehended those who attempted to desert. Among those detained was the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Theodoros Negris. The Greek fleet has yet to appear, as the inhabitants of Hydra, Spetses, and Psara are monitoring events from a distance. Meanwhile, the Ottoman fleet remains anchored at Patras.
