Pouqueville standard work for Greece became a best seller during the Greek revolution and a second edition had been prepared by the author with corrections and additions. It is a much more richly illustrated edition. According Blackmer, the number of plates vary in each copy and the total is uncertain (Blackmer had a copy with 14 plates in total only),Navari has identified 38 different plates used in several combinations,here we have a copy with 33 plates, including fine, unpublished before, views of Greece.
