Very few spots, text clean. Overall in very good condition. An extremely rare, unrecorded, printed prayer for Othon, upon his establishment as King of Greece. Most probably privately published in Bamberg in December 1832 for a special ceremony, in Munich or Bamberg, celebrating Othon’s futur accession to the Greek throne and his imminent departure towards Greece. Othon’s departure from Bavaria to Greece has been attested on 6 December 1832. Bamberg, a city of the Bavarian state at the time, was home to many Bavarians (officers, army, and civil servants) who later followed Othon to Greece. A real rarity for the first King of Greece. No trace in any public library worldwide.
